Researching is the processes of trying to establish facts or reach new conclusions by looking for and studying materials and sources. When on the Internet we need to consider how trustworthy the information is and whether or not it is biased. Being biased means to be prejudiced for or against someone or something, especially in a way considered to be unfair. Personal websites and blogs are more likely to contain personal opinions which may be biased.
Communication
A secured Internet bank connection may require some banking details but you would not post these on the wall of a social networking site. When you send an electronic communication, control over the content is lost as messages can be forwarded by others. Many businesses rely on digital communication and the pubic take advantage to find the goods and services they want. We are in a digital age but communications within the digital world need to be considered so they are appropriate and safe.
